I thought I could post an action pic of the Buck that mykel m mykel m generously gave me but I'm concerned it may be jinxed. I fished my favorite trout steam last weekend and only caught two. Neither was really big enough to keep. I don't know if it was the knife or my wife telling me to grab a ziploc so I could bring home a couple for dinner.

Welllll, I may be prejudiced but I'd say it was probably the wife and not the knife that jinxed you.;)
 
jk xmas gift.jpg I received these wonderful gifts from https://www.bladeforums.com/members/cbach8tw.154949/ He nailed it for sure I have a gentleman's pocket knife for my dress uniform now. Plus we all know I'm a giant nerd when it comes to pocket slips. My kids pretty much jacked the Maglite from me. And I keep the coin in my pocket to pay the gate keeper. The part that meant the most was the hand wrote note. Thanks a bunch (the hunter was from me to me for xmas)
 
Glad you liked them, there is a custom of giving a coin to a person you give a knife to so that you will not "cut" the friendship. I threw in an .Eisenhower dollar since you do not see them very often.
