Christmas Gift Exchange

If there's a dog in my pasture and it's aggressive, it's fair game. If it's friendly, that's another thing.
 
The no antlers threw me until this year when I realized that only female reindeer keep their antlers in winter. It was on the Hallmark channel's Christmas music station with the little factoids. Really makes a difference when I watch the 60s Rudolph special, just have to concentrate on story line and not let that fact bug me. :D
I still like it when the toys from Misfit Island find new homes at the end when Santa drops them from his sleigh with parachutes.

Surprised there's no pics of opened gifts yet. Everyone must have more will power than I do. I haven't opened my gift yet......only because I haven't received it.

well, unfortunately I had some issues with the post office last week, so come hell what may I'll be visiting them again when they open tomorrow

I whole heartedly agree with this. There is no shame opening these early.

I don't think I've ever done one of these where we actually waited until Christmas anyways, it's always as soon as it gets into their hands!

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone.

The last couple weeks (months?) have been very difficult.

it actually looks like I'm going to really be able to enjoy the season as I just seem to be coming out of this funk :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Sorry I've been out of this thread. Looks like everyone is having fun getting ready for the holidays. Hannukah begins Thursday and I will be opening then. I received my package last week and will ship mine this week. Have the knife but I need to put together the rest of the package. Chag Sameah and Merry Christmas all!

Yeah, sometimes people can be fruitcakes!! Especially how they are around the holiday times. No need to mince words!! :D It is amazing how crazy people can get shopping, reminds me of Jingle All the Way with Arnold Schwarzenegger and
Sinbad. Although this year more online shopping.
 
I'm a little nervous about the one I sent out yesterday. it still hasn't been scanned by the USPS, even though it was dropped off before 2 PM yesterday. :(
if i don't get some tracking by the weekend, I'll be sending out a second one on Monday. (according to the receipt, it's supposed to be delivered Friday or Saturday)
 
that's my hope, but it should have been scanned as received before moving to the main center in town and again when it lands at the regional center in kansas City.
