Newish, fun to play with since it's a flipper, which adds to the gifting value, high quality appearance at the price point!!!

Picked up this Kershaw Amplitude 3.25 at the local Wally yesterday. About $25 otd, AO flipper, 8cr13mov, frame lock, deep carry clip. So far carries real nice, very slim in pocket.

Dragonfly 2 in FRN. Super impressive for around the 55 dollar price tag! Am definitely thinking about gifting one or two this season.

I picked up a Rough Rider half hawk this weekend and I'm really into it.

~$10-12, nice spring tension, sharp useful blade shape, better than expected fit and finish, especially the composite handle scales.

Budget is really tight right now, so I'm giving away a bunch of SAK Classics this year;
$14-20
Handy little keychain knife with scissors and a file, and with TONS of color/design options to choose from; football, baseball, shamrock, pink, camo, and so forth, they all are personally selected to suit the recipients personality...

*added - GREAT stocking stuffer idea!!!

Mora is always good. Boker micarta pens around $45. Buck 110 or 112 around $50. Cold steel tuff and mini tuff around $25-$30. Case sodbusters are grest too

Spyderco Sharpmaker
$55
I think it's a great gift because most casual knife users don't have a sharpening system, maybe a stone but that's it, and this system is very user friendly in my experience. It doesn't take long for any noob to put a decent edge on a blade. Just realized this can be had for less than $60 online! I think i paid $80 for mine years ago.

Kershaw Scrambler is another one, for anyone looking for an assisted opening flipper/framelock, with a no frills conservative styling.

I can't recommend it enough for under $40... I liked the one I won in a GAW so much, I bought a 2nd.
All the modern "new school" functions, with a simple enough design even grandpa can appreciate...
And the detail along the handle spine really gives it an extra pizzazz.

2 more ideas for good EDC carry
Side by side

The Buck Vantage Pro is perfect for "made in the usa" for those folks who would settle for nothing else. Comes with deep pocket clip, a non assisted flipper;
s30v (pictured) comes in just above the $60 mark, but the standard 420hc model comes in under $40... Very comfortable and functional edc knife...

For those people who need a true tank of a knife! Something that is stout and sturdy, with a glass breaker and a fold out bottle opener/mini pry tool on the handle, at around $50 consider the Kizlyar Supreme Ute... It's on the heavy side, but it is 100% over built... It feel like it's dang near indestructible in the hand... Notice the liner, twice as thick as the standard liner used in the Buck Vantage...

It's a lot of knife for the price...

cold steel voyager series is low priced right now. if you know any people crazy over knives get them any "zombie killer" knife

Leatherman Wingman for right around $40 is a great basic pliar based multitool also... I already owned one, and still appreciated the 2nd one my brother gifted to me at this wedding last weekend.

Start someone's collection off with a classic 110. Still some 50 anniversary out there.

To make up for all those ties given for Christmas and Father's Day, give a complimentary gift, a Spyderco tie clip. [emoji41]

I put this on my wish list, I am hoping very much to find one of these under the tree this X-mas

Another Kershaw that I absolutely love and would highly recommend is the Oso Sweet

Available online for $30-40, this knife is an absolute tank and a joy to carry

I live less than a mile from the BladeHQ storefront so I was in there for Black Friday. I actually ended up picking up a Sharpmaker for my little brother. We tried it out last night and it rocks! Certainly lower stress than my Worksharp Ken Onion edition.

For relephants, I picked up a CRKT Renner Deviation last night and I'll be darned. This knife flips like my $200 Reate and has a pretty good fit and finish with a custom look to it. Can find it just under $50 online.
