I finished up my first couple of hawks. My wife bought me the frontier hawk a couple of years ago but I just got around to doing something with it. The trailhawk is for a friend of mine as a gift.
A little sanding on the hafts, some minwax polystain, a couple of pieces of Kydex and some bungie cord and we're good to go.
I didn't tackle stripping the heads and refinishing them. Maybe I'll try that on the next one. I'm sure there will be a next one.
