Christmas in July

Is the recurve one for display only? How do you get it out of the box?

That's a big negative. The recurve is for use. It comes with a great concealable kydex sheath. The small hooks holding the knife to the display box are threaded at the bottom. All you have to do is move them counter-clock-wise and the knife is out and ready for use. The matching display box is just for show.

It's a hell of a knife. I actually find that to be one of the more appealing designs I've seen from Mick & Duane. It's certainly very forward looking, combining traditional finishes & materials with a more modern blade shape.

Maybe we'll see a whole new product line sprout up with similar features.

Whoever snaps that one up will be very happy indeed.
