Scruff, thank you but it is Edmundo (mudguard) that is very gracious and just a great person to talk with.

He is 100% Front Porch people :thumbup: It is I who has benefited from making his acquaintance ;)

Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

Paul

Merry Christmas! :thumbup:

mudguard,
When I first saw Your thread I thought, "WOW - That Knife Has A Warm Glow".
Your post is a story of accomplishment in the face of adversity.
Paul's Gift is a symbol of how people can make this World a better place.
NO Doubt in My Mind That YOU Will Make a Difference.

The OP has used words I wish I had, very well said.

Many folks come here for a bit of distraction in times that are rough, as well as times that are not I might add.

They find a respectful, generous bunch which can recharge your batteries when needed.

Merry Christmas all.

I see enough bad things that humans do to make me question the species value at times. But to hear a story like yours and see the kindness and generosity of the folks here on this forum is a good reminder that life's worth living!

Thanks for sharing this so well mudguard:thumbup: These threads show the best of the wonderful folks that hang out here on the porch! The best part is, these things happen year round, and some of them go quietly under the radar so to speak. The caliber of fine people here is an inspiration and a comfort :thumbup:

Good on you Paul! :thumbup::thumbup:

Another reason the traditional forum feels more homey and comfortable than the rest of the internets......
