Santa brought me a Case Swayback Jack in CV with jigged chestnut bone, a couple of CDs, a reading light, a book about the history of maps, and some boxer shorts. There will be no pics. :rolleyes:

Those are sweet presents but I would prob burn the Glenn Beck book. I think its good to hear both sides of an argument but Glenn Beck is RI-DONK- U-LOUS.

I got drunk... And then again next day. Which translates into - I got plenty of quality time and love with my friends ;)
Now, to survive the new years eve and I'm ready for the 2010...

Sounds corny but the best thing I got was some much needed downtime with the family. I really enjoyed chatting with my son while playing XBOX together. I did manage to pick up some cool stuff too.

I got a book and finally got to see my father come home from a rehab facility after being very sick for about 3 months! :thumbup: On a side note, I walked into my parents house and almost fell down laughing because my dad looked like Santa Claus! He hadn't shaved the whole time he had been away :D
 
Oh man how could I forget. I also got Busse BCTMCG from Jaxx, thanx m8.
 
Well I got a few things but like a lot of people it was pretty tight but we fared pretty well. I got $100 gift cards from my mom, grandmother, and uncle. Wifey got me the Beatles Boxed Set, love that there is a lot of stuff you just don't hear. The baby got my Inglorious Bastards on DVD. I ordered my Rat Pack Knife and lucky me it came in the week of Christmas. I made a SWEET trade for a DP Knives Chopper. 1/4" 1070 with corian scales. Got less than $50 in it. I talked to Doug at DP and he told me to just send it back to him to buff it up and put a good edge on it. I may send it off and have him send it to my mother for a leather sheath. She hasn't messed with leather for a while but she does great work. Here is a pic of the chopper. Wish the $300 in gift card was cash though I really want a BWM.:o

Thats a great gift - filson is wonderful stuff and built to last - I've had a medium field bag for years now that just keeps on ticking! My parents gave me a filson packer hat :thumbup:

Wife got me a Marlin 1894c (.357) in stainless steel - its in the mail and will hopefully be at my FFL this wednesday :yawn:

Awesome, I love my TAD gear battle hoodie. They're worth every penny.
 
Large Big Green Egg
Bunch of small stuff (led trouble light, some kitchen gear, pajama pants, etc.)

Bought myself a Hamilton Khaki King as a work watch. I suppose my RAT Pack knives kind of count too.


Made a pork loin on Xmas that was stuffed with sirloin, and wrapped in bacon. Wow.
Cooking a couple prime ribs for Xmas on my mothers side, this Friday. REALLY looking forward to that.
 
So as far as gear goes, I scored some various stuff to help with the outdoors, but nothing really that exciting. It's not exactly outdoor gear related, but as I am a HUGE football fan, I did get a new jersey, and I thought ya'll would appreciate it, for reasons which will soon become apparent....

In addition to the foods that my family traditionally prepares for the holidays, I got some great loot. The things that would interest this crowd the most are my new Kassia Hunter Horsebow and the Battle Mistress that my relatives helped pay for through their generous cash gifts. Not bad at all! I get to write thank you notes that for my first Busse ever! Wont the relatives be proud.....
 
I have shared custody of my daughter and this year was my turn to have her for Christmas.Seeing the look on her face Christmas morning was the best gift of all.
Apart from lollies,cashew nuts and things my mother thinks my kitchen needs.:) i got a bottle of 12 year old Balvenie Doublewood from my Sister :cool:

As usual i couldn't help buying a few extra's for myself.In the month leading up to Christmas i treated myself to:

2 pair of Zen-Ray Binoculars
2 soft shell jackets
a couple of fist fulls of flashlights and a bunch of awesome titanium courtesy of Yuna knives and 4Sevens.
