Christmas is coming... What Traditionals are on your wish list ?

I happen to know the wife purchased a GEC #89 Melon Whittler Tidioute Executive with a Forest Moss Jig Bone handle.
I accidentally stumbled across a receipt she had :p :D

The stuff dreams are made of:D

I hope this year's Forum Knife will reach me by Yuletide.

It needs a friend or two:thumbup: say, A Queen Cutlery Copperhead especially in the CSB but can't find one these days, maybe an old man in red with a white beard has one? The new issue of GEC Half Congress would be nice too, and their Dogleg if it comes with Spear.... Any Teardrop would be excellent too, or one of those single blade Bucks in yellow...or a mint I*XL stag Norfolk or somesuch c.1898:eek::D:D

On the list.

2 case 62032 chestnut stockmans in cv. One for each of my sons and for myself a message from mr kerry Hampton that I have reached the right end of his waitinglist.

As there is a risk santa dont exist my 2 sons knifes is in danger, and also my wisch about a message can be delayed but that is just a matter of training the patience, one of the true chalanges and vortunes in life.

Mabye santa knows I is curious on a carbon 2 bladed jackknife also as for ex a texas jack or a swayback jack but as he must take my wife to help Im not hopeful.

I made Santa out a list with a case yellow delrin CV trapper and a CV medium congress in his choice of scales. All he has todo is take it in to our local case dealer and my friend there will hook me up. Its gona be a good Christmas.

I marked several in a catalog with a really big star next to this Eisenhower:

Maybe I'm suffering from a bout of the doldrums. Maybe I've reached contentment, who knows. But as much as I still enjoy looking at knives, I haven't really wanted anything in particular for quite a while. For the first time in years I don't have a knife on my wish list for Christmas.

All I really want for Christmas is a phone call from Reese Bose. Or Ken Erickson. I'll even take one from Kerry, I'm pretty easygoing... :D

If Kerry calls, ask him to get Toofus to read "Twas the night before Christmas" to all the kids. Mind you, not the standard version but the Toofus version with verses such as:

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the trailer

Not a creature was stirring, not even a jailer;

The stockings were hung on the rusted Chevy on blocks,

In hopes that St. Nicholas would fill 'em with Glocks;

The children were nestled all snug in their bunk,

Having visions of Bose Backpockets with joints that were sunk;

And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my trucker cap,

Had just settled down for our fifth daily nap

I don't want to spoil the rest of it as the rest is quite ... colorful the way Toofus does it.

the BFC 2010 Knife:D (so i can gift to my dad) but for me i really dont buy knives anymore so i'd be happy with anything!! My dad in years past has gifted me something sharp and pointy, so im hoping he continues the tradition!

Well, since the knives I like are thought of as outrageously priced by many of my friends and family alike, I am all open for books. Some friends are book hunters, and I have asked them to keep an eye out for the Bernard Levine Guide to Knives 4th edition for me. Other than that, friends and family know that a small few of the local hardware stores are selling their Case and Buck knives on clearance.

Hopefully I'll get the ones given to me as gifts that I haven't snatched up yet. :D

Been eyeing the following:

1) CSC Swell Center Jack from the Chestnut Collection.
2) GEC Half Congress
3) Boker Whittler with the Beer Barrel scales.
4) Ka-Bar - Had one in the Army & broke it.

Rather fancy a gift box from GEC with an assortment in stag

Maybe a moose, a little dogleg jack, a muskie, a scout, a #48, a cattle baron.

That'll do for now

Don't want to use up all my goes for easter

I guess my wish would be for a Case yeller CV mini Copperlock with perfect lockup - no movement to be felt up or down or sideways. That'd be pretty sweet.

My people celebrate the birth of the Savior in October, and we give gifts at that time.
This Buck prototype single blade stockman was my gift this year. Call it a Christmas gift if you will:
