My wife told me that for Christmas I should take a knife making class.:D Can you believe that? I live in the Washington D.C. area and am willing to drive. Does anyone know of classes being given in my area or within driving distance. Thanks

Paul

There are classes offered in North Carolina. Search on that and knife making and it should come up. Let me know via email if you need anything...

In March the Blacksmith Guild of Central Maryland will be having it's yearly knifemaking class. I usually come down to help teach as it's the class that got me started in knifemaking. The class is held at the Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster, MD so it's a reasonable drive for you.

You can get more information at the BGCM Website.

Feel free to PM or email me if you have any questions.

Paul, I can attest that the Central MD blacksmith Guild is a first class bunch of guys and gals. The spring Pioneer Days and Seminar are a great way to meet a lot of folks and get some info and training. The classes they hold on a regular schedule would be worth the trip, too. I'll be there again this march.

Of course you would have to put up with decker, but everyone has sacrifices to make.
