Christmas Khukuri Party 2004

as a Northerner, I'm no stranger to cold. It't the drive that would be tough fer me.

Love to attend, but makin no promises. If that crazy barstid Nasty goes, I may be a carpool candidate, if he wants to go west b4 going south.

you're the one driving this thing, DIJ. Why don't you decide?

Someplace in NE Texas would be fine with me - I like to travel. ;)

I'd even offer to pick up that "mean ole ndn".....if he'd let me...

!! !!

:footinmou

Ok then,
How about sometime around Christmas, at my grandpas farm in Mckinney, which is here:
(the farm is really just some land with a nice two story house on it, no animals or crops anymore..)

Now, what day ?
(or two days)
I usually visit for about ten days, so dec 14 to jan 5 is my probable range...

This is good. I live in the Dallas area as well, and while I like to travel my expense accounts dictate that my activities stay closer to home...

McKinney is about 6 hrs for me - not too bad. Longer if I pick up my feathered friend. ;) :p

re: date

How about the weekend of the 18th? That's actually probably the only time I could make it out there.

Also, what's the weather usually like?

what accomodation do you have?

I will probably travel alone - no wife/kids.

McKinney is great for me, date is fine as far as I know.

Weather is very variable. Avg high 55F, avg low 34F, record high 89F, record low -4F :D People start pulling out the puffy jackets when it gets below 65 around here, but it's nice for me...

If there is camping room I may want to try tenting it, even though my house is only 15 miles down the road. If not, I can possibly put 1-2 people up at my house in Richardson, depending on other holiday visitors.

McKinney looks to be about 3.5 hours by car from OKC(bit longer by bike, will ahve to stop at least once in there). should be nice little ride if weather's not bad.

I can't believe it. A Khuk Xmas Party and I am thousands of miles away. It could make a grown man cry!! :grumpy: :D
