Christmas Knife!!!

I enjoy these threads every year but one has not popped up yet so I thought I should start one . Christmas is coming... what knife are you going to use to open your gifts?

This year I will be using my new Umnumzaan :thumbup:.

i will have young children antsy on xmas morning even though they are 1/2 jewish they seem to like christmas more than hanukkah lol. anyways with the kids running all over i probably will use my chainsaw to help tear open those pesky vacuum sealed plastic packages and heat sealed clam shells.

but really, i will probably use my zt0300 or my Hest 2.0 if it makes it here in time

I have already opened all my Christmas presents, with the exception of one. I'll use one of my two Christmas knives, JWS SD-3 or BM 275 Adamas, to open it.

I'll have my Victorinox SwissTool to get those pesky wire ties that hold things captive in their packaging. For the other items, I'll probably use my Kopa Gold-lip pearl, or my old A. G. Russell Gent's Linerlock in quince burl. Both of these have sharp points and slim blade profile to slice through the plastic clam-shell crap.

You beat me to it, I was thinking of posting a thread like this.

It will either be my Case swayback jack, or my custom saddlehorn single blade. I don't have pics of either, the custom is a makers first attempt at a slipjoint (ATS34 clip point blade, gouged out nail nick that looks like it took a couple tries, G10 that looks like glow in the dark but isn't, no liners, and not exactly the best fit and finish; but it has some walk and talk, so I bought it. The cheap price helped too.

Well, i'm actually getting my first good quality knife for christmas (delica). Im wondering if I should open it first so I can use it to open my other stuff, or open it up last. Hard decision, I cant frickin wait though.
