Got the Christmas Green BM940 EDC back to hair-popping sharp just in time for all those pesky packages.

Congrats cutter! Nice group. What's the bottom one? Looks awesome!

Bottom one is a John W Smith SD-3 (4.5" blade!) w/ lightning strike carbon fiber scales. My 2mp BB camera has a hard time capturing the look of the lscf. Just got a BB Storm with a 5mp camera, so there should be some improvement, though 5mp is nothing to write home about.

My razor-sharp CS American Lawman sliced and diced everything that needed cutting today!!! Plastic "security" packages? No problem. Tough zip-ties? No problem. Scotch tape? No problem.

See a trend? With my humble Cold Steel American Lawman, basic cutting chores really are no problem!!!

I did extremely well, with my ordered Buck 060 Hoodlum and 113 fb Ranger, as well as my South African Arno Bernard 'Wild Dog' in Bohler N690 steel and giraffe bone scales wth a cape buffalo sheath. I knew about these!

Of course, she didn't stop there - she got my EDC US-made BM 755 MPR a black coated blade brother - and a Boker Solingen made cousin - the S35VN bladed Blackwood Pipsqueak. I also got an Ultra-light pocket LW/MW/SW/FM DSP radio - state of the art in radio construction. What a great Christmas!!

Been waiting for you to post up the goody's Stainz. Very nice!!

Know this is a knife forum, but what is the lowdown on the radio? Been looking for something like this of good quality.

Nice scores Stainz! I didn't know Buck made a knife like the Hoodlum. I'm liking that one a lot.

The radio is a LW/MW/SW/FM 'ultralight' with a US-made (Siliconix) digital signal processing (DSP) chip set. It's made in the PRC (Recall that they get 'most favored nation' status in trading.)and sold as the Tecsun PL-606. They are available via some Hong Kong dealers on evilbay - or from their new US distributor, Kaito Electronics, via AMAZON - either way, the shipped price is similar. I went the US distributor route via AMAZON. It has a lot of features - including 550 memories, selectable AM bandwidths, and automatic band scanning. A lot for two AA's - and, if you use NiMH's, they can recharge via a USB cable.

Hey - my new Boker Pipsqueak is a keeper - more to follow on the Boker sub-forum - and more re the Bucks on their sub-forum.

Well i hope everyone had a good christmas.

I used my chokwe to open a recon 1 but didn't get to play with them because nobody else in my family carries a knife and there were a lot of blister pack and such that needed to be opened.
