Donna said she wanted a peace pipe to go in the display with her pipe hawk,so I decided that this would be a fun project and a different Christmas present....When I got it done I realized that I really did make it a Christmas pipe as the colors I chose and the pattern was way to close to Santa Claus. We have decided that it needs leather instead of the red felt and white fur,but it still looks cool.So what do you guys think?

Hand turned Brass bowl, curly maple body with leather and maple spacers and a white tail tine for the mouth piece, all secured over a 1/4 inch piece of copper tubing.1/8 inch hole at base of bowl and also in the mouth piece to restrict air flow...around 18 inches long over all...

Thanks for looking,
Bruce

That's cool Bruce. Does look Christmasy with the red and white. Leather and rawhide would look nice.

That's a very nice pipe Bruce :) I would love to someday share a smoke with you while dreaming about Peace

I dunno Bruce I think its really nice the way it is. I like the red felt and white fur:thumbup:

Nice Bruce! You know you have to take pics of it with the pipe hawk...I mean, they're supposed to be a set right? :)

Ready for a groaner ?

I'd hit it.
:D:)

Seriously though , nice looking pipe.

I'd like to see a pic of it without the clothing.

Thanks for the great replies everybody.Donna loves it in her display now also (we will do the new wrap after we study it awhile)

That's a fine looking pipe Bruce!!!
Do the pins go all the way through the bowl or just in enough to set em? I'd leave it like it is and if Donna wants one wrapped in leather, make her another one. This one is her special pipe you made her for Christmas!!

Great looking pipe, like the original work and ideas you come up with, looks like something that Chief Joseph would be holding in a picture. I would leave it as it is and not change a thing.
