1) Date on the date stamp must match the date of the thread. Yours is off by a couple of months.
2) Insurance is up to the seller, as it protects the seller, not the buyer.
On BF, the seller is responsible to see to it that the knife is delivered to the buyer. If it gets lost in the mail, the seller is required to refund the money. So insurance protects the seller, not the buyer. You can't charge the buyer extra for it as an option.
