The SD is a Nepali version of the Scot Sgian Dubh, which, if I'm not mistaken often have similar notching on the spine.

I got the Hasiya in this picture last year (12/30/08). It's a substantial, heavy-duty sickle-like blade.

Thanks for confirming my post, perhaps my memory isn't as bad as I believed but maybe it only works on blade related matters? :thumbup:

How does the Hasiya perform? What chores and uses does it get used for?
