I having a conversation with Andy this evening .. and after I got this Fiddleback Fighter, I want more of this Billy Jack Badass of a Blade. It's a MONSTER! Love it! I haven't seen one in person before - just a couple pictures - so I asked Andy 'how many of these did you make?' A; 'about 15-ish'. I tell Andy, 'DUDE .. ya gotta make 4 more of these! With matching Bushboots!' Thus creating some very special and rare collectibles for those of us Fiddlers who like the collecting aspect.

That conversation got me thinking, 'what would I like for Christmas from 'Da Forge? In what direction can I point the wife for that something special for Christmas? I understand that's not the point of Christmas, but we love getting each other some really cool and memorial gifts.

So .. what yall think? Anyone got any other ideas for some 'special editions'? Some really rare/special 'one offs' for your Grail expectations?

Here's another example something that might be a bit of a reach .. but you get the idea;

* Bow Legged Joe
* 3 Finger Joe,
* 3F Joe Belt
* Bow Legged Choppa

:p

The Fighter & Bushboot matched sets

Runt & Palmer in Mammoth Tooth handles!!

Old School and Current Nessmuks - matched sets

Yall get the idea.

Seeing the word Christmas already is crazy. Time flies. Cool thread but as a user not a collector I'd love to see these made (or designed?).

Padre in stainless and burlap
Fiddleback boning/fillet knife ;)
3/32" A2 or CPM154 Handymen in burlap

How about a matching set of woodsman, hunter, and fillet knives with dark micarta bolsters over curly koa with orange liners. Now that wood be an outdoors mans dream.

I would like Ken to be free of pain, Judy to find a place where she can be comfortable making art and knives during her new adventures, Turtleskin chaps for Chris, new heights of success for Aubrey, Adam, and Dylan, a treasure trove of rare GEC beerscouts for Vance, a bass guitar for Allen, some downtime and good health for Andy and his family - and the same for all of the community here.

For knives, maybe a Santokumuk run in AEB-L!

Did you copy my list Brendan? The only thing that I can add to that is black bolsters, pins & liners. Nice job setting the right holiday tone.

Santa could glady bring me a:

Woodsman (For the deep woods of my kitchen)
1/8" Tapered CPM 154
High Convex Grind
Rosewood Burl w/ Black Bolsters
Mosaic Beauty Mark

Oh, how about a matching matching paring knife. Let's say a:

Bushcraft Karda

Then again, I'd simply settle for a stainless Padre in 3/32"s

I know this is something I've never seen from the forge but I've really been jonesing for a 1/8" or 3/32" 20-50 fold damascus blade. Would fall in love if Andy did a Recluse, Woodsman, Patch, Padre, or Nessmuk in it with Curly Koa or Desert Ironwood burl and at a mosaic pin.

All I want is a non bolstered sapphire burlap ladyfinger in 1/8 stock in 01 or A2....and now a matching fighter[emoji41][emoji41][emoji41][emoji106]🏿

+1 [emoji106][emoji106]
And a Bog Oak Hunter to replace the one I sold to a persistent hunter [emoji3]

Did Judy leave the Forge?

I would love to see a 3 knife small to large matching rarity set once a month or so. Something extra special to set them apart, fiddle stamped? I certainly wouldn't mind throwing money at it. Curly Cues, Pinecone and/or Bolstered Shrapnel for me please. Od bolstered/liner ironwood with trinity mosaic would be gorgeous.

More stainless! More scandi!

I agree that a filet/boning knife would be amazing! I would definitely, definitely buy one of those.
I've had my eye out for a stainless F2 for a while to use as a small game knife. There's been one posted in the flea market but I didn't like the handle config. (If anyone has one for sale let me know!)
A woodsman in a nice burlap has also been on my list for a while.
I think a nice scandi Recluse, or another small run of stainless ones would top it all off!

Oh... I don't think a Padre would hurt my feelings either.

I want one of those Billy Jack Badass Blades! That Fighter is too cool Bud! What are the specs on that bad boy? Is it double edged? :thumbup::cool:
