Christmas Wish List 2015 - Fiddleback Edition

There's some bone & mammoth tooth scales sitting in the prep office area. Been hoping some of those will get used pretty soon.

Maybe the Fiddleback elves will read this. :D The original Nessmuk was a stag crown handle. Although it's not the same, the jigged bone just seems like the next best option for the Nessmuk's historical pattern. That would be a great blend of an old school pattern and materials combined with the current craftsmanship of the Fiddleback crew.

- ladyfinger in 3/32, CPM 154 or A2, tapered tongue, no scandi. I agree to but it as birthday present as well ( my birthday in May)

- + 1 mammoth tooth/bone. I like giraffe bone as well

- as we can see on several threads forum member demanding more 3/32 knives

- from rare KPH, padre in thin stock (3/32, 1/8), F2, scorpion - was not for years

Natural canvas bolstered bog oak 1/8" TT scandi or convex CPM-154 (I'd settle for any steel) handyman/patch!

Oh and a bow legged belt knife please!!

I would like to see some more racing stripes with dark micarta, heavy spalted steel, extreme taper....oh my oh my...

A Woodsman. Right now I'll take one in any configuration. I just really want to get my hands on one. :D

My Christmas wish would be for a Camp Nessmuk in 1/8th, tapered tang with some classic, good looking wood scales. Think Cocobolo, Desert Ironwood, Bocote, etc.

Just my wishes! ;)

Cheers all,

Ben

I would like a "Red Ryder Carbine Action 200 Shot Range Model Air Rifle"!

And an ironwood burl bushboot with orange liners.
On second thought, I might shoot my eye out.

Seeing that I've been relatively good all year, I'd settle for any of the following:

- 1/8 scandi terrasaur with an extended tang & natural wood scales (one does exist!)

- 1/8 tapered hunter with a full height grind, bead blasted black canvas micarta scales , no liners (machete style)

- a fiddleback kukri ;)

Buckeye burl Sneaky Pete w/ dark micarta bolster, white liners and lime pinstripes brass or mosiac pins and stainless blade.

I'd love to see more hiking buddies and others in stainless. Also more scandi-grinds, please? And some bone handles, if that's your thing ever? :D

I'm going to add to my first post and say a run of cpm154 3/32 handymen with synthetic scales and a high convex grind instead of the common scandimen. Merry Christmas!

Here ya go Gus ..

I don't have any Fiddlebacks, but holy cow that bottom knife is one of if not the best looking knife I've ever seen.

EDIT: Bottom picture, top knife in first picture.
