Chronic flippers...How many times do you open and close your knife needlessly?? I know there are many of us around.:D

Yep, that would be me. . .

The last place I worked at we were all like that. We would get together for a bull session and next thing you know there'd be six guys standing around in a circle all flipping knives open and closed. Nobody would bat an eyelash.

The new place I'm at, not so much but it's funny 'cause I still do it out of habit and it seems to be starting to catch on with the other guys.

That's hilarious that the whole group was flippers! I do just about any time I'm watching tv! Whatever knife or knives I have on me that day get taken out and opened/closed continuously without even thinking about it:D

I flip my Kershaw scallion speed safe all the time, gets pretty addicting.

Oh Mystro at first i thought you meant knife swapping. :D I do know one habitual flipper.

Just picked up one of those Kershaw Skylines so I'm working on getting it opened easier. It's kind of fun, but I don't see myself sticking to this opening method. Nice knife nonetheless.

Let's see, one cycle ever 2 seconds, and usually a copule of hours a day... I'd say 5400 is a good, conservative estimate.

I wore out the springs in my Benchmade almost as soon as I got it and have been making my own to replace them.

Whenever I get a chance too, watching TV, reading, drinking beers, BBQing and so on...

Heh, several times when I go to the bathroom at work. A couple times when I get home and put the knife down and a couple times in the morning before I leave.

I am a delivery driver. Constantly flipping open one of my knifes. Not just flipping open also Spydie drops.

heh, I spend a lot of time on the road for work as well, and flip and spydie drop a lot. but never in front of the steering wheel, just in case that airbag goes off!

Constantly. It is an addiction. Not only do I flip, but I also will un-sheath my Izula, check the edge (as if it were any different than the last time I did this), and re-sheath. Rinse and repeat many times throughout the day.

pretty much the same for me.

I flip my Kershaw Volt II all the time. I stopped about an hour ago...it cut my fingertip off. I am not really into flipping it anymore...

owww... Countless times... All day long...
and there's another chronic thing that I do all the time...
I NEED to slice paper with my knifes...
People call me "The Shredder"
