Chuck Buck gone?

Thank you Blade Girl The Solitaite is just under 4" closed, all stainless construction so no maintenance aspects, American Cherrywood handle. A great knife for not much money.

I thought it would be nice to show pix of our cherished Bucks as a fitting way of remembering the late Chuck Buck from Traditional enthusiasts:thumbup:

Regards, Will

Carrying this one today that I have owned for 26 years. Thank you, Chuck.

CJ Buck and Son-in-law Joe Houser are moderators on the Buck forum, go down to the bottom of the Buck forum home page an we are listed at the bottom in red. They have become so busy BladeForum asked me to climb on the moderator wagon in that spot. I am pretty sure they read over the forums but comment very little. Several other high ranking officers in the company comment regularly. I am just a collector and member of the BCCI board and consider it my job to keep cussin' and badmouthin' to a very minimum....

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My dad goes way back with the old 110. As a matter of fact, I was thinking about getting him a custom one for his 60th birthday this year. I think this pretty much seals the deal.

RIP Chuck.

A Celebration of Life for Chuck Buck will be held at 2:00 PST on Friday, February 13th in Post Falls, Idaho at Real Life Ministries Church. This service will be open to the public. Real Life is located at 1866 North Cecil Road, Post Falls, ID 83854/ 208-777-7325.

I'll add my condolences as well.
I admired the way many folks decided to carry one of their Buck knives to honor Chuck Buck's memory, and I decided to do the same.
Almost exactly a year ago, I made the first pocket knife purchase of my life (at age 62, 45 years after I stopped carrying my first ever knife, a gift from my parents back on the farm) at "Mr. Sam's store": a package of two Chinese-made Bucks, a Solo 379 shown below, and a Trio 373 (small stockman that I don't have a photo for). I pulled both of those out today, and plan to carry them the rest of this week.

I had a short communication with Mr. Buck regarding the distribution of Christian tracts that would present the Gospel to hikers. He truly had a heart for people and a love for God. He will be missed but he is in fellowship with the Lord that he served here on earth. I simply pray that the same could be said for all of you.
