Available for sale is a Japanese style straight razor, could be used for light kitchen work?

3-1/4 of cutting edge, 1-1/4 in wide and 7-3/4 overall.

Made of Karl Andersen twist damascus with a blue wrap over the tang. The wrap has been resin soaked.

Price is $175 delivered in the US. Comes with a custom kydex sheath.

The razor has an Kamisori look to it but that is where it ends. Being that I shave with straight razors, I'd give it a test shave after proper honing.
