Chunkidashi!!!!

So I could go on and on about how this is the sharpest, chunkiest, baddest kiridashi ever made on planet earth. Or how it tried and tried to bite me while I was building it.

I could try and explain why you NEED this a razor sharp, needle pointed, pocket tool of mass destruction. Or how it was born out of my high performance HT, designed to squeeze the most out of Crucibles CPM3V steel, spanning the Fahrenheit range of 2000+ degrees to -325 degrees.

I could even tell you that you will be the envy of all of your friends and enemy's alike when you wield such a mythical blade of great power.

But instead I will leave you with these specs and a few meager images to tell the tale of its wonderment...........

OAL - 6 1/4"
Cutting edge - 2 1/4"
Steel - .280" CPM3V High performance custom HT done in house Including LN Cryo
Handle - Ito over hemp cord, epoxy soaked and rock solid
Sheath - Kydex
Price - $250 + $10 Priority Insured shipping

When I was at Blade Show this year all I heard tell from all the operators* there was how this was THE tool against barrs.

Holy cow am I scared about barrs.

Back when I had my radio show in Okinawa**, there were constantly folks calling in asking for further information regarding how to stop a barr attack. This would've solved a lot of issues back then, let me tell ya! Heck, they don't even HAVE barrs in Okinawa, and that's all they ever talked about. Really. I'm serious! Got to the point where I wouldn't even take calls anymore. Barrs barrs barrs. All I could ever get out of them. Strange, really. After all, it was a cooking show!

Good reason to be afraid of barrs. Chunkidashi would certainly be a comfort on a long trip in barr country... Mostly, it's because they cheat at cards. You can be at the table, and they be all like:

one minute.

Then, the next minute you say "bro, you just laid down a seven of clubs, not a jack of diamonds" and they be all like:

I lost seventy-five buck last time that way. SEVENTY-FIVE BUCK!*** Had I managed to keep that, and save a little more, I could've had a Chunkidashi. THEN it would have been a different story, let me tell ya. We'll see who lays down a g*dd@&n seven of clubs THEN!

*There's no operators at Blade Show
**I've never been to Okinawa. But I'll bet they're still afraid of barrs.
***okay, it was only twelve buck. It was all I had on me! But I SWEAR TO GOD, it really was a seven of clubs he put down.****

****I've never actually lost any money playing cards, ever, much less against a barr.*****

*****Okay, I lose money just about every time I play cards for money, because I suck at cards. But that doesn't mean barrs don't cheat!!!!!

Gotta love the barrs. Great story highlighting a beautiful blade. Never seen one quite like it and am thinking, "how can I use this"? I don't have barrs around here but the raccoons are chest deep - but I kinda like them.

Well, someone cares enough about bear safety that this one is sold. I feel so bad for the rest of you folks that have to walk through grizzly country ill prepared for the dangers that lay before you.

Because I care so much about your safety and really don't want to see another bear bully any of my friends, I have one more of these miracles of modern steel that I can finish up that is available. Speak now for your own protection*!!

*This is not really guaranteed to protect you against bears of any size, shape or form**.
**Truthfully teddy bears don't stand a chance.***
***I Can't be held responsible for any damaged teddy bears, or for sad children because of said teddy bears.

Best. Exchange. Thread. EVARRR!! Nuff said. Wish I had the $$ for one of these. How do you think it would do against 'gators here in FL? They're thick round these parts.

Gators are basically lizard bears, so I don't see why not.

You are welcome!

The really scary part is that was on a google search.

WTseriousF is going on in here?

Got to be a science fiction movie in that one - and the Chunkidashi will be what saves the day by performing some miraculous feat (but only ordinary, for a Chunkadashi - like cut through a two thick steel cable to drop a piano on the creature) at the very last instant before total doom.

This is one of the most surreal and hilarious exchanges I've seen in some time. Gator-bear approved! :D

I think Ben and Matt might actually be the same person

We should also point out that we've never been seen together, either.

...almost as if we couldn't be...
