I used a little larger material on this one,I usually use 1" sq. but used 1 1/4 by 1 ..4140 on this one.Filework and blade cover-curly maple haft.A solid feeling hawk meant to be used SPECS --18 1/2" oal--head is 7 1/4" from edge to hammer--2 3/8" cutting edge---1 lb. 11 oz. ttl weight-----$145 inc. shipping in the CONUS-Paypal is rsilver4@gmail.comThanks for looking:)----Regards Butch
