Cimarron Trail Hunter

Knife made by ABS Master Bladesmith, Steve Culver.

This is one of my Cimarron Trail Hunter models. The blade is forged from ¼” 1084 steel and differentially heat treated. The blade is distal tapered to give the knife good balance. This is a hidden tang design. The handle slabs have each been mortised to hold half the thickness of the tang. The tang extends to within ½” of the rear of the handle.

Blade Length: 4 3/8”
Overall Length: 8 7/8”
Handle Material: Sheep Horn
Fittings Material: Stainless Steel

This knife is one of a few that I have left from the shows that I attended recently. When these knives are gone, I will not have any more knives available to the general public until the Arkansas Custom Knife Show in February, 2009. Delivery timeline for new orders is about 12 months.

This knife has a sale pending.
