Last week I posted a WIP on a five piece Cinco-mai blade. This is how it turned out. The handle is red mallee burl.

Nice. How does it feel in the hand?

May want to call it "wu-mai" to keep it along lines of "san-mai". Just saying.

Go-mai would be the Japanese words for it I think... very cool whatever you call it Tom!

Thanks, for the comments. I like Cinco-mai because I live in the South West, and Cinco is Spanish for five. Cinco-mai gives it a South Western Flavor.
