Cindy Garrison what is the point?

CHEF bring your waterproof boots. It's been raining pretty hard for the last 12 hours.

Man I just got word.:grumpy: That sucks, looks like I'll be putting back til next weekend. Thats alright though gives me more time to sight in the redhawk.

Let me get one thing straight...

At no point was I defending Garrison's current show. I think it's some silly gratuitous crap, and if it is her brainchild, well then I wish her all the success she deserves.

My point was that Garrison didn't come out of nowhere, as some folks insinuate in this thread. She wasn't just a pretty face that some producer picked off the street to host an outdoors show. She does have a credible outdoor background in fishing.

To that end, I would prefer to see her doing what she does best, rather than parading around Africa in a leotard and making a mockery of hunting there.

I watched about 10 more minutes of this abomination this morning. This is one of the shows that I would hate for someone who is on the fence regarding guns and hunting to see.

The way she acts and reacts towards hunting and taking game would lead one to believe that we are all a bunch of no IQ, blood-thirsty and drooling adrenaline junkies. All I know is that if I had acted that way in the field growing up, my dad would have broken a boot off in my ass.

I justy went and watched that video, that was hillarious. I had to pick my self up off the floor from laughing so hard. Camo leg/arm paint and throwing stars. I can just here it now "Only by passing through the gate of they eye can the star penetrate a lions brain and kill it" Wouldn't that be funny watching her big game hunt with stars and a couple sai's maybe a Kama for backup.

 She has PETA leanings? Does't she realize fish are people too? What does she think makes our oceans salty but fish tears?:D Just what we need.

LOL! No, based on the way she acts in the field, I don't think People Eating Tasty Animals (:D ) would let her near their front door!

She is the one that acts like an idiot after she has taken an animal. I refuse to watch any hunting program (no matter how attractive the host) if this is how they act. Us hunters should show the utmost respect for the animals we harvest, because without them what the hell would we do on the weekend!

If someone unfamiliar with how the vast majority of outdoorspeople view nature and animals they would believe that we hunt and fish only to kill little animals (which is how she acts), which is not the case.

I was raised, and am passing on to my sons, that the kill is not the highlight of the hunt, but that the experience of being outdoors is. The adrenaline of taking the animal only lasts for so long, but the memories of where you were, who you were with and how hard you worked to get to that point lasts forever.

WOW, that felt good to get off my chest! :o

I will bet her website for being an alaskan fishing guide featured a few prominent pics of herself flashing those pearly whites and shapely legs, possibly splashing around in a river like a swimsuit model.
Perfect bait for a middle aged fella going on a fishing trip with a clueless wife at home.
Holy smokes, I can at least appreciate her marketing savvy!
