Civivi vs Kizer Vanguard?

Having owned a few Kizers and more than a few Civivi, have to say I would go with Civivi. The detent on the kizers varied, one was almost perfect the other two were to soft. All the Civivi knives I own are all perfect with indiscernible fit and finish. While Kizer has some interesting designs, none really catch my attention

It seems like Civivi gets way more hype and attention than the Kizer Vanguard series and I don't understand why. Kizer uses more desirable blade steels and has superior flipping action in my opinion Kizer knives are typically a little more expensive but it should be expected when every Kizer that I can think of has a designer involved with several being American designers. Most Civivi knives are in house designs and when there's a designer involved, as with the Mckenna, the price is clearly higher and pretty comparable in price to a Kizer Vanguard.

I'm not bashing Civivi in any way. They are great knives but Kizer Vanguard is better and deserves more credit in my opinion.

You're probably the only person I've ever seen or heard claim that Kizer did a better job of flipping action than WE/Civivi. My Vanguard Gemini has a very weak detent, which is unfortunately something Kizer has been known for.

Maybe I just got lucky with Kizer or unlucky with Civivi but the flipping action on my Kizer Dukes and Lieb is superior to the action on my Civivi Elementum and Odium.
