Been carrying mine since Christmas. Very, very nice. It did, however, get X-Rayed when I was flying out of Atlanta after the blade show.

Really, a very nice package, well made all around, and a great piece of personal carry-ware.
 
I can only comment about the material the checkbook is made of, rayskin. Its beautiful, durable and unusual. I've been carrying a wallet made from rayskin and I love it. Some one once told me that the handles of samurai swords were finished in either sharkskin or rayskin.
