CKCA 2010 Mini-Show Knives

Master Bump, I believe that is my favorite slippie of all time! It would be a shame to not make any more in that pattern, but . . . maybe there's only room for one at the top. Heartfelt congratulations on another gem.

What a line up. Beautiful works!
I am very drawn to the Tom Ferry "Tree Frog Trapper".
That it's a sole authorship piece makes it all the more inspiring and stunning. The tree frog really elevates it to a magical plane.
 
The knives at the is year's Mini Show are truely fine examples of each maker's craft. It seems that each one wanted to make this show the best ever.

I got to take a peek at Bruce's trapper and man what a great slipjoint! I love the blade shapes and the fit and finish is super.

This is a true Presentation Grade Gentleman's Bowie and Tip & Throat Sheath by ABS Mastersmith John Horrigan. This large Bowie is full take-down construction. All gold inlay is 24K. There are twenty gold leaves on the ferrule. The vine on the spine is 24K gold, pure silver and copper.
The Bowie and both sheaths are sole authorship.

John continues to amaze me with his abilities. This is an absolutely stunning bowie, in so many ways. There is going to be a one very fortunate and proud CKCA member after the mini show. Wow!
