CKCA Mini Show; The Knives 2015

Regretfully I shall not travel to the USA this time and shall miss the banquet :(
and the BLADE Show...

But I shall contribute a copy of my latest book to be raffled among those
lucky to be present at the banquet!

Have a great evening!!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

BOOK-III-1st-copies.jpg

Hello David, I received the complementary copy of "The World of Art Knives III" you donated and we appreciate it very much.
It won't be raffled but given away via drawing just as the two beautiful display cases Mark made (see previous page) for our Banquet.

We also have another big give-away that will be announced.

Every CKCA Member who makes a reservation will receive a chance to win each of these items via drawings.

Thank you David for your generosity.

Haley named this knife 'Alevin' after the small salmon fry that flit around the rocky points where she grew up.
She forged the steel from twisted, multibar Damascus, 1080/15N20. It has an sculptured African blackwood handle.
Per Haley: "Keyholes and twisted Damascus are some of my favorite things. The damascus pattern is one I've been
developing for about a year, I hope you guys will like it."

OAL= 6 3/4"

I really hate to miss out on dinner with you folks this year.....FANTASTIC knives!

Jerry Fisk has created and donated a special Sendero to be given away at our Banquet.
What a great gesture on Jerry's part. Thank you Jerry!

Jerry forged this special CKCA Sendero's 4 1/4" blade from 5160 round bar then water quenched it. It has a burl Afrazilia handle, stainless guard and Jerry's deep relief engraving.

Every CKCA member who makes a reservation and attends our Banquet on Thursday night June 4th will receive (1) chance to be drawn as winner of the beautiful Sendero.
You have to be present in the banquet room at the time of the drawings to be eligible to win the give-aways.

Make you reservations @

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this but Kevin was kind enough to make space for the Ladysmith knife to be displayed along with its bidding notebook at the banquet. This will be a good chance for people to see it in person and I know a least Grace and I out of the five gals will be there to answer any questions. The silent auction won't be ending the evening of the banquet but will continue until Sat afternoon to be announce in the main showroom. We'll see everyone in a couple weeks!
