Kevin, Ryan and Mary Hayes have just done a great job, year after year - Kevin has now officially turned over the reins to Ryan going forward !
I think we as collectors need to do better with attendance at this banquet - the makers are MORE than holding up their end.
Anyway, all in all a great night, and best wishes to Ryan going forward in his new role - Collectors, it's time to help Ryan out with suggestions going forward and to help increase our base

Ryan will take over on January 1st but has already began building a ground work this weekend talking with many members and non-members to get their views, ideas, and all.
We will be working in stages to provide a refreshed vibe and direction with the organization. We do not want to be overwhelmed by trying to do it all at one time and getting over our heads and failing. So be patient, we will listen to what you say, you may not see it to start but know we will try to include everyone's thoughts during Ryans rein, if we can.
We have a few makers already offering knives for some donations and we have some ideas we will be sharing down the road. If you would be interested in donating a knife to our membership for the banquet, as a door prize, or for future projects please reach out to Ryan.

I was trying to reach many of our maker members that attended Blade this weekend and either took pictures of knives on table or included some selfies with them. I apologize I was not able to reach everyone. Several makers had customers at their tables several times I swung by and didn't want to interupt any sales, if possible. Those that had sold out before I got to them and/or weren't at table I could take a selfie with either. If I missed you, please know I am sorry. We would love to increase our collector membership! We would love to hear from collectors on what you'd like to see with our organization to draw more collectors in. It doesn't matter if your a beginner to more experienced collector, we all started at the beginner stage! We would love to help mentor any experienced collector with fellow collectors and our wide variety of maker members.
