For sale today is my CKF Sukhoi. This is the 2nd generation knife, made by Custom Knife Factory of Russia. These knives are currently out of production--a Gen3 run may be planned for next year--and not easy to find in new condition. This model features an S35VN blade, full titanium handles with deeply inlaid carbon fiber grips, frame lock with steel insert & over-travel stop, and over-sized ball-bearing pivot. The knife is super-smooth, fires open easily using the single thumb stud, and free-drops closed. Lock-up is solid at around 50% and blade is dead-nuts centered. The fit and finish on this beauty is amazing!
The knife is LNIB (read Bag) with one exception. Sukhois come notoriously dull from the factory and I have re-profiled this one on the EdgePro to a 15 degree-per-side secondary bevel with a 20-per-side micro-bevel done on the SharpMaker. Both bevels have been polished on a green-loaded strop and the S35VN blade is now wicked sharp. This knife has never cut anything but paper to test sharpness and was in my pocket around the house once just to try the clip.
This is a really gorgeous knife, but I'm selling because I'll probably never carry this one and want to cut down on safe-queens. This is basically a brand-new knife that has been greatly improved. (The four I found new on the big auction site are selling for double and triple). Knife comes with pouch, cleaning cloth, and certificate of authenticity.
