Very light for it's size, with a 4"blade of 390 and cut outs in the Ti handle, Polycarb overlays, comes in at right at 4oz! Very good for a 9"folder. Ceramic bearings make it extremely smooth opening and you can barely pull the flipper and it still opens. I like the blade shape a lot. Carries small too.

Nice--the funky blade shape, with all that belly, calls to me. I think I may now need another knife I don't need ;)

I had to have it, 1st because of the blade, 2nd 4oz.! Bonus the thing just opens, no matter how you pull the tab. Plus it seems like a much smaller knife closed than it is. Then you open it and WOW.

I'm not a big fan of the polycarbonate, but that blade shape is fantastic! I did not know about CKF until now Jill, I'm going to have to keep an eye on them for a future purchase.

I like a big 4 inch blade on a folder and most weigh way too much for pocket carry. 4 oz. Is really great compared to 6, 7 or even 8, which most of my others run.

Is it possible to take the polycarbonate off of the knife? Just curious, that's the only part of the design that I don't particularly like.

You'd need new hardware, if you did. The ploycarb is tuff and they've got one side of the pivot and the clip , plus backend screw resting against it.

I want it. The clear panels would normally turn me off, but the frame cut-outs are neat looking through it.

Lol at the realization that this thing is technically a liner-lock, no?

It is a linerlock, but without the panels it would be a framelock. I just like a big fast opening knife that weighs in so light. It really is incredibly smooth , it will open fast, or slowly. Also drops free on closing. Much different than my other bearing flippers that just load up and pop out, and if you don't pull hard on the tab they won't open fully.

That's an intriguing design. I like the experimenting with different compositions. Inspirational design.

I can see it now. A knife in the shape of some bug with wings with a ti frame body and polycarb wings for overlays. Some stinger shaped blade. Called Stinger.

I'm on a roll.
