CKG 2010 Show Review....160+pics

Thanks RL! Makes me want to have been there, but at the same time makes me feel ok about not being there- cuz you brought it here:D

While two of the knives Brian Lyttle brought to the show were purchased by Neil Ostroff, here are some photos of another two that Brian asked me to photograph for him. He and Neil will be doing an article in the future about his San Mai/O1 damascus.

First is the Persian Fighter that STeven liked

and secondly is a Impala handled hunter

Hey RL, thanks for another great show recap thread.. They are by far my personal favorites on the forum. I'm going from memory here, and my apologies if I overlook someone, but RL, Roger, Steven, Murray, Coop, Buddy, Kevin, Martin, deserve a big  for these comprehensive reports with great photo's.. Thanks again RL! Best, Rich

Thanks Murray!

That piece is just WOW, and the close up picture shows off the nice details.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Great review and pics! Thanks for sharing them with us.

Robert

As usual you bring those who could not attend a great show experience in spite of not being there.

Thanks for all that you do. It was fun to hang out and many thanks for looking after the Strider table.

Also, don't cut yourself on those flashlights! :D

Neil

As mentioned by RL, Wolfe had a number of nice folders on display of which all had found destinations.

This one

found a home with Phyllis and me. One has to be continually amazed with the work that Wolfe puts into a folder. The crispness of the lines, the roundness of the curves and the overall design all created with hand work and a great deal of sandpaper. He is truly the most outstanding artistic knifemaker of ours or any generation and I'm very pleased to have been able to add this piece to our collection of Wolfe made knives.

I can't how many times I said "wow" to myself going through those pictures. Thank you very much RL for this thread. I feel like I was almost there.
