I don't need it but I want it. I haven't even contacted the seller yet because I'm not sure on how well it does on steel. Of course it may be gone anyway but whatcha think?

Craftsman King Sealy Drill Press with, get this, the Vari-Slo attachment!!! $100!!!

I already have a vintage Craftsman with the slow speed pulley but I don't think I can resist this beauty. Sealey.jpg

Strider - My friend has a professionally equipped woodworking shop that I use on occasion. He has that drill press(amongst others) w/ the Vari-Slo and I've used it for for a variety of tasks including drilling tang slots in steel/wrought/brass/copper guards and pin holes in full tang blades. The work table is solid and sturdy, and its smooth and powerful. Its a fine machine.

what is so much better that this drill press has over the craftman drill press please?? I have the craftman table drill press and it does every thing for me. I dont use it like you people do.

Well, I left a message with him as soon as I posted this. Can't pass it up. May not be as good as mine at slow speed but the changing of the speeds on the fly has to be better than changing a pulley. So much so that I have mine on the slowest speed and have never moved it.
