CL score and question about motor shaft adapters

Got this Baldor motor from CL for $25 today (planning to build NWG).
It is single phase 1.5 HP, 115V/230V, 1725 RPM.
Hooked it up and it works like a charm.
Here is the question. I measured the motor shaft and it is 7/8". Only step pulleys on usaknifemaker.com is 5/8" or 3/4".
I found few 7/8" Maska ones on FleaBay but they are almost twice the price.
Is there an low cost adapter which will allow me to use 3/4" pulleys on that motor?

Thanks in advance.

McMaster-Carr and Grainger are always the first places I look for pulleys and such. If you have a local industrial supplier or good industrial hardware store, that's worth a call. As has been mentioned in other recent threads, the quality of die cast zinc pulleys is pretty sketchy, you might be better off getting pulleys for a 3/4" shaft and having a local machinist bore them out to 7/8". That way you could get a good bore that runs truer than the bores these pulleys sometimes come with from the factory.

Maska is a quality company, if the pulleys you saw were made of steel, not pot metal or zinc, that's worth twice the price or more compared to a pot metal pulley. Machined steel pulleys will run true, not wobble, be better balanced, and not wear out quickly. All of the previous can be features of die cast zinc pulleys.

Just ordered Maska 7/8" 4-3-2 Step pulley for the motor and 3/4" 4-3-2 pulley for the drive wheel shaft.
