My Claiborne etcher finally broke after 7 years. The etcher itself didn't break, but the electrode did. I contacted Ron today, and he's sending me new leads. You can't beat that kind of customer service. He did want me to let everyone know he is still making them, though his number changed from that many years ago. He's now at (865)660-1569. I can't tell you how pleased I've been with my machine, and it's never let me down. No matter how much you pay for an etching machine, it does ONE thing, and IMO, the Ron Claiborne etcher is the most bang for the buck. Particularly if you make your own stencils, as I do.
