In the early 80's there were only 2 companies making leather for IPSC, Davis and Rogers. I'm keeping all my Rogers mag carriers, but this beautiful Davis Leather Co. belt is too small for me now. (Size 38.)

Last worn over 20 years ago, but periodically treated with leather conditioner and in mint condition. Super heavy stitched leather, 1/4" thick, with nickel plated buckle snaps. The perfect gunbelt for EDC or competition and will last a lifetime.

Davis leather has been out of business for a long time. Dillon Blue Press lists Mitch Rosen gunbelts for $70; they are Rosen quality put don't have near this handwork, and are stitched only on the top / bottom.

This is classic leather and I'm asking the same: SOLD That's shipped anywhere in the CONUS and I cover the PayPal.

Thanks,

Norm

P.S. No belt buckle included.

3 day bump. Please note the price reduction. Priority shipping and I cover Paypal.

Thanks,

Norm

I need to move this. (My wife is selfishly screaming for grocery money. Geez...)

New price, SOLD shipped. There is no way you could touch a belt of this quality today for less than 90-100 bucks...

Tnx,

Norm

Do you have the "keeper loop" for the belt? Thanks, Jim

No, it didn't come with one. It's a trad. styled gun belt, but meant to be worn with jeans, not slung around your hips. You want the whole rig to be as tight and locked down as possible when you're speed shooting.

Attach the buckle, and if you have the correct length belt, in this case 38", then the free end will just fit underneath the first loop of your jeans and go on another couple of inches. A keeper could have been included to go between the snaps, but there's no point as your pants loop will hold it down at about the same spot anyway and this makes for a cleaner profile with less to hang up on.

The $70 + S&H Mitch Rosen belt comes with a smaller integral brass D buckle and sewn keeper. It is also only offered at 1.25" or 1.5" wide instead of 1.75".

Here's a couple more pics. Sorry, the one's a bit fuzzy, but you get the idea:

Hope this helps.

P.S. Jim, I checked with the guy who sold it to me 25 years ago. He's still around. He said that he sold a couple dozen of these anyway and this belt _was_ sold with the keeper as a $10 option, but that most guys didn't bother. It was cleaner this way, and with the cross-draw holster and mag pouches extra stuff wasn't wanted. He only ordered the ones with the keeper if specifically requested.

Good eye on your part, and sorry for any confusion.
