So I'm a huge fan of the "classic" looking knives. And in a world of "tacticool" I love seeing the classic looking blades. Wood or bone handles brass or SS bolster/guard, and pins, leather sheath. Reminds me of growing up working on my uncles ranch, my dad always carried one around. These are not mine but it's pics of one of my favorite style knives made by BF member horsewright. Dave I hope you don't mind me sharing your work!

Well, it took me a while to find some pics... My Horsewright is the fourth one down...sterling silver bolster and endcap...a truly remarkable knife. Yes, I sold it several yrs ago...the nicest fixed I've ever owned.

Wow those are some nice ones thanks for sharing!

I HAVE HAD some gorgeous fixed blades, but they seem to go much faster than they come in. I have very few left at this time.
I certainly do enjoy the beautiful wood scales, however...

I think all posted classics are just classy. Really love Horsewright's work also. Would absolutely love to own one someday.
