Classic or Regular...which is your favorite?

Since there has not been much to talk about around here lately I thought that I would ask everyone this question. It kind of goes along with my post a few days ago on which did everyone prefer, the large or small. I really don't know which one I like the best because I don't have a small regular one to compare my classic to. I am however in the process of saving up some money to buy a small regular in S30V :D . So lets hear it, which one is YOUR favorite?
 
John, I think I still prefer the Classic Sebenza over the new style, the lines of it and the guard area, to me, seem to be more in line and useful, I have a small Classic right now...

I always thought I preferred the regular, especially the woodies, until I got my large leather inlaid Classic. Still love those regulars, especially my large diw inlaid, but the Classic blade shape is my favorite. Now cuple it to the regular handle and we in buisness!:D
 
I now have to claim the large Classic as my favorite. I acquired my first Sebenza, a large, plain new style last year and was quite pleased with it but gradually started to eye the Classic with increasing favor. I am now in the midst of a trade for a Classic and am even now gazing at it. The over-all lines and graceful blade shape are of, dare I say, Classic beauty.
 
I have both large regular and large classic in use as a EDC. Superb knives ! :D Personally, I prefer the classic over the regular. Visually, there isn't much different in handle shape. But, when held, you can definitely tell the difference. The classic is more ergonomic and the knife overall is more balanced. I also think that the blade shape/design on the classic - rocks ! ! :D

And most definitely in large ! ;)
 
Large Classic for me. I like the pointier blade and especially the shape of the handle.
 
Classic's all the way! I own one of each in the large and small Sebenza's. I really like my large wood inlayed regular, but there's something about the way the classic locks into my hand. Ergonomically the Classic is the way to go. :cool:
 
I do not own a classic, i have a small regular although i do admit the more i look at the classic the more it appeals to me.
 
I use a large regular every day at work, so I guess I'm bucking the trend ;)
 
Well I carry both a Large Classic as a EDC and a Damask small wood as an EDC. Over all I would go for the Classic for my next style. I just plain prefer the styling of the classic over the regular. It fits my hand better and looks better to me. Oh and I prefer the more aggressive point on the blade.:D
 
Well maybe since most of us prefer the classic that means I got the right CR knife already and don't need to buy another one. :eek:
What a minute what am I saying of course I need more Sebenzas. :D

I currently have a large plain (regular) sebbie and a small classic mad. rosewood inlay on the way. I have used all 4 types in the plain finish and I found that I prefered the large regular for heavy chores due to its more robust tip and the small classic for EDC due to its size, handle shape, and overall looks.
 
Help me out fellas... I'm really not sure what the difference is between the two styles. Any side by side photos of the two styles out there? I just bought a small regular Sebenza and it's a beauty. I'm a BIG fan of CR blades especially the One Piece Range, I don't think I'll be happy 'til I have one of each!

Thanks for that photo - a picture is worth a thousand words. Now I know what I'm missing. Until I lay my hands on a Classic, my vote is with a regular...

Liked the Regular when I saw them. But when I held them for the first time I really liked the Classic better. Large Classic is my big blade and I just love the way it feels in the hand. I have smaller hands and I think the dip in the top of the handle shape feel much more ergo to me.

My large classic has the classic handles w/o pocket-clip and the regular blade (w/o the pointier blade)....it looks similar to the regular benz's blade in the picture. Regardless, it fits my hand better (and my hands aren't very big). I do carry a small regular and seem to like that as well, but my favorite is still my large classic.
