Safariland Model 1000 vertical shoulder holster for all large autos (except Beretta.) This is mint 30 year old technology. I imagine Starsky had one of these for his Browning Hi-power. (?)
I bought this in 1978 for $75, to carry a 5" 1911. It worked perfectly, but for what I was doing it was just too big of a rig and I went with a smaller setup and pistol. I only carried a pistol in it one night, and then it went into a bag where it's been sitting all this time. Periodically wiped down with a leather conditioner.
No offside mag carrier, just a beautifully made holster with Safariland quality. Internal positive lock retention spring and strap, soft tanned shoulder harness and still springy backstrap. Back side of the holster has a snapped leather loop to lock it into your side. Perfect for carrying a 1911 or other large auto on horseback, afield, etc. Will work fine on the street if you have the clothes for it (or a CCW.)
Asking just what I paid 30 years ago, $75, shipped, and I cover paypal.
And the back side:
Please PM me here if interested.
Tnx.
