Classic's Rock.........so post some pics!

I believe that's the rare jimping that I've seen on some Regulars. I didn't know it was also used on some Classics. That's a very nice large Classic

Thanks! I did a little google searching and saw the same jimping on some regulars.

Very nice Classic! Mine are a little more used looking but still amazingly solid and smooth.

New small Sebenza Classic MM :D

Sorry if this is out of line but I am new to CRK and looking to buy my first. I am also slowly learning. Someone posted the difference between classic and 21, but what is this? I think its before classic? I think I like this design of the scales. (sorry borrowed this pic from a recently sold knife here on the forum)
By the way, nice classics pictured so far:thumbup:

Here is my bunch, two are in daily rotation and the rest are tucked away. They are all pre 21 as I lost interest once the classics stopped being made. I doubt I would ever sell any of these....

nice collection, and I can see your point. I honestly like the older knives with larger inlays better than the newer style. Visually from a distance, the classic seems very close to the current 21's though

They are called regular Sebenza's and are a favorite of many, but also a discontinued model. They started before the Classic MM and were available at the same time also.
Regular 1996-2008
Classic MM 2000-2008
(as stated by nyefmaker in his history timeline in the stickies)

The large was a Christmas gift from my wife in 2006. I traded for the small one about a year later. Then I discovered...

... they're both from late October, 2006. They were made one day apart. The large is from October 31 and the small is from October 30. They're both going in my casket with me, along with my dogs' ashes.

What did my wife get for Christmas in 2006? A small silver contrast dog paw Sebenza. It's been her EDC folder ever since.

Nice! I like the Dog Paw classics. You're very lucky! I'm looking for a small classic dog paw but still not found...

Thank You, I have since figured out what it was. I appreciate the your response

Thought I'd bump this old thread, since some new/old "Classics" have been showing up in the threads. Love the Classic. Hope to own one someday.

Classics are underrepresented in my collection, but I do have a few. My only large in the Lignum Vitae righty in this pic with the very unusual grain.

I've got a few smalls;

This is a blackwood that might be part boomerang. It's on it's 4th time in my possession.

Here's an older one with B&W Spiro damascus.

The Classic is my favorite version of the Sebenza. I've now got three with micarta inlays now, two smalls and a large. Lone_Wolfe, I bought the other small Classic (2008) from the same post where you got your new 2005. I picked up my 2005 large a few days later.

I did this Classic vs 21 video yesterday to highlight the differences for those who might not know:

^^^^^No problem. I enjoy doing those. I just wish wish I had time to do more.

James Longstreet, those are some cool knives and great photos. I didn't know there were CRKs with leather inlays. Just when I think I've got examples of everything I want...
