Classless Brass before picture

Mark:

I will be happy to come up and treat your wound. It would involve placing your wrist into a vise good and tight. Of course I would have to shackle your free hand and both feet to limit your movement during treatment.

I would then pour a little lacquer thinner into the cut, brush briskly with a wire brush, and super glue the whole thing shut.

It may not cure your cut, but it would probably make you more careful next time.

All I would ask in payment for my services would be that "tacky-brass-fitted" knife :D :D

Looking good.......can't wait to see the finished product.

Dang Robert, where'd you learn your first aid ? Ghingus Kaan ?

If that is what brass looks like after patina then that would not appear to be too tacky to me!

That is some fine work, and I doubt anyone here could deny that the brass on that one looks really nice.

Terry,

It's just ferric chloride for the blade at 4 parts water/ferric and Jax black for the brass.

Amazing how a metal with absolutely "no place in the custom knife world" can turn out so cool looking, neh?

I think I'd have a hard time letting that leave my grasp. Nice work! :)

Mark that's great! It breaks my heart someone's actually going to use that thing. That's what they have WallyWorld knives for... Lucky customer! Thanks for the update.
