This knife is a real beast. Very Powerful, Very Elegant. The bolsters are made out of PURE D2. The bolsters have been peened in 5 different locations, they won't ever come off. I built this knife for power & looks, it's strong enough to breach a steel door, etc.

I left a little "scrape" from the belt sander, on the bolsters "Face", to closer match the straight running lines of the black palm wood. The "Face" of the bolster has small lines, the sides/interior have all been buffed & polished.
The Black Palm is also incredibly strong, & amazing.
The Mosaics have #16 brass pins each. 3 larger rods matched w/ 13 smaller rods.

I have regular .250/ quarter inch steel, doesn't even compare to the .270 D2

Wanted to do something a bit different. The D2 Bolsters were a real nightmare to shape down/get on there, but I couldn't think of anything stronger for breaching a doorway. Alot of raw power, glad you caught that Blackfox.
