Clay coating blades

Karl -

I have been using #50 for almost a year now and have not noted a significant difference in hamon formation in comparison with water

and i always do a wash coat

Yeah. NASA it is. Dr. Wernher von Braun left his lab in my backyard near the Space Center and there are all kinds of cool things to play with.

Never done a wash coat and never had problems. Now im tempted but it will screw me all up....heh!

I just did 3-for-3 with total success. No wash coat. A little scale, but cleaned up rather nicely with a new 120 belt..
Screaming hard blades! Sound like glass.
It was a good day.

Hey Stacy, haven't heard from you in a while and just wanted to touch base. I know how busy things get so I'm assuming that's the case as I never saw anything from you in the mail. Can't pester someone when they're doing something for free though!!! I just wanted to make sure that you didn't attempt to send that dvd and then think I decided to keep it!

Yes, Ben, I got busy and the steel is sitting in the shop. I will send it up sometime this week, along with Walter Sorrells' DVD.
Thanks for reminding me.
Stacy
