Hello again....

This fighter is one nasty poker......

The blade is 1084 Tool Steel that has been clay coated and quenched to leave a very visiable hamon due to the glass bead blasting. The blade features a false edge from the flat ground large blade. The blade has a nice flowing distal taper.

The handle is a 4 nickel pin full tang. The wood is a stabilized maple spalted burl. The handle is perfect for a small/medium hand and fits well into the grip of both a frontal or reverse grip.

So for those of you who did not like the brass in my previous listing..... Here are the nickel pins.....

The blade is stamped and the measurements are below. Some of the photos may be a tad blurry.... need to send it off for repairs.

Overal Length: 10 1/4"
Cutting Edge: 6"
Width at widest: just over 1 1/4"
Thickness: 1/8"
Handle to choil @: 4 3/8"

This blade comes with a leather sheath of either right or left drop carry. The cost is $160 and includes shipping inside USA. Overseas buyers will need slight adjustment based on location.

Paypal accepted at 7% addition. Email at dpknifemaker@aol.com

Thanks for looking...

Daniel, great looking knife. I am glad to see a little longer blade than your most recent work (at least here on BF). Love the lines on this one and the handle material is beautiful. Very nice!

I have had this blade sitting around until I got the bug to finish it out..... Most of my longer blades are usually damascus. But I wanted to get in the right mood to finish this. I for one like the feel and the balance. It is an easy knife to twirl in the hand to position from one striking position to another.

Thanks for your comment.....LVSteel

That's a really nice looking knife with a unique touch or flavor to it. Please email me if it is still available.

This one arrived on Friday and is ten times better than in the pics ! Daniel Prentice is a very good guy to deal with !!! Can`t wait to get my next one .

Daniel the wood handles you have been putting out lately are outstanding! Keep buying and using that wood. (My humble point of view)

It sold so fast I didn't even get at chance to bid on it.

Cheers Buddy!
