Gentlemen:
For your consideration is this field grade Clay inspired Alaska/Safari Skinner in stabilized California Buckeye Burl and CPM S35VN. I made this knife to be super light for its size - it's .100" thick at the ricasso and hollow ground on a large radius platen. The primaries were ground to .015" and steep 20 degree secondaries make this knife a real cutter. There wasn't much to taper on the tang but I took the taper down to wasp thin at the butt just to say I did it.
The solder joint is perfectly executed with no pinholes. The satin finish is super- fine scotchbrite belt finish with a buffed handle. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $325 delivered CONUS. PayPal preferred to tsteingass@yahoo.com. Thanks for viewing and your comments are appreciated.
