I tried to email you to ask you these questions but your email isn't working.
I was just wondering if you've ever tried metal solder instead of liquid metal(JB weld) when doing your little handle fix?
I just thought that the look of the metal solder would look better than that liquid metal stuff.
Let me know if you have any experience in using the stuff to fix the tang cups, cause i'd like to fix up my BM-259 if i can with the stuff.
Also I was wondering something about your tuning tips. Are the tuning tips that are on your site for jag's or will they work on BM's too.
Like the tip on how to realign the handles, can you use your method to realign a BM-259,cause mine are all out of alignment.I tried to hammer them tighter one time, but nothing seemed to happen, but then again I didn't want to ruin it so I kinda went easy on it.
Last question, what brand of bali's are you using in your vid's?
I can't tell if they're just jag's or PC/BM's of the same design.

Sorry about the e-mail situation. I've had quite a few problems lately. Should be OK tomorrow.

The tune-up tips were mostly for those "economy" Balisongs, but I'm sure they'll work on just about anything of similar construction.

You might want to send your BM out to them to have it fixed right though......... just my opinion.

I've never tried regular solder in the cups, but it's mostly because I don't think it would work with that type of metal......... but then again, you never know.

The first vids were done with a Manila Folder. But most were done using a regular $19 Jaguar.

Yeah dude, I got it. It's all wrapped up and sitting next to me right now.

I'll be dropping it off first thing in the morning.

Clay,I think I rememeber reading on the forums that BM won't service the "economy" line, and the 259 fits in that category.
If anybody here know's how to a realignment of a BM-259 please let me know, but i'm pretty sure there isn't......peace

If the 259 is anything like the 239 then you can use clays fixit tactics, you may need to put a little more muscle behind it seeing as benchmade usually makes a better product. It took some pretty hefty whacking to get my 239 handles to close the gap on the blade and when I did get them to tighten they got a little too tight and had to be worked out. It's a blessing to have the torx screws on the new models.

The CD is just the BalisongXtreme website.

I put it together for people that have either slow Internet connections, or they don't want to connect everytime they want to learn something.
