CLB content - hope Boker has good lawyers..

Yeah those keep surfacing from time to time.
This is one of the problem with outsourcing to China: you quickly get copied if it is not your own chinese factory managers that sells copies for its own profit.

I know some businesses that moved their activity to china in order to make quick profit and came back to Europe when they realized it was more expensive in terms of manpower cost but better than having their products and technologies pillaged.

Thanks for posting this.
I will forward it to the proper people.

Man, this stuff burns me to no end.

Bokers not the only one, saw copies of striders and cold steels also.

Scumbags.

I do like the stretched out biscut though.

Terry,
Over on ebay I noticed a Boker CLB Direkt with a black/plain-edge blade. I thought the black blades were all serrated. Figured I'd better let you know.

Man not only CLB fakes but also Magnum tanto , AFD,
Klotzli Walker folder ...:barf:

This sucks major i also saw coldsteel fakes etc...

I guess the only safe place to buy knives these days is from reputable dealers and on the Blade Forum exchange. You might pay more but you get what you paid for.

Ahoj Priatel 224477...

I got no worries, Boker has handled this sort of thing before. My friend Rod Bremer of CRKT is going through the same BS, but the idiots copying his knives are doing TOO good of a job. Bastids...

Well, all I can say about these bastids is what Mr.T said during his interview before he fought Rocky:

"Deeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaad Meat!"

God bless you guys and again, mahalo Jano.

I hate to say it but this site has been mentioned before.....it seems like there is no end to their blatant rip offs.

How the hell do you protect yourself from buying this trash? How would you spot a fake? Other than purchasing from a reputable dealer such as NGK, how do you know?

Check out the Feedback forum. If there has been a bad experience with a dealer it will probably be posted there and you'll know who to avoid. Also there are plenty of reviews of reputable dealers there as well. People will be willing to let you know who are good and bad dealers. Also if you do a search using the dealer's name you should get plenty of results to read through.
