CLB content - hope Boker has good lawyers..

Yeah, this is a risk companies take when they have products produced for them in China..the factory down the road starts up and makes the same product, except your company sees none of the profits. I believe the copyright laws are really bad in China. I heard you have to submit blueprints of what you want to manufacture to the Chinese government before they let you open a facility in China to manufacture it. I was at a store that carries cheap chinese made knives and katanas and saw a stilleto which looked exactly like The Magnum Stiletto YA101, as pictured in the catalog, except this stiletto did not have magnum listed anywhere on the knife. I actually had asked what brand it was and the guy working there couldn't tell me...

True, I overlooked the "Boker solingen" copies that were mentioned earlier in the thread . I was referring to companies who have a product produced for them in China and then that product is copied. I guess the safest bet when buying a quality product, without having to worry about copies, is to buy from the source...

A coworker mentioned to me about parts for a major airline manufacturer being produced in china. No one could tell apart the copies from the real product and in the aerospace industry there any many distributers producing parts for Boeing etc. I would hate to be flying in a plane with fake Chineses parts.

I hate this kind of theft and it needs to be cracked down on and dealt with appropriately.

A counterfeit assisted opening SubCom plus another knife for less than 20 bucks on eBay. At under $10 each, you know they've gotta be garbage. Plus they're nearly exact copies of patented designs.
