Up for sale is a chopper ground out of X65Cr13 Stainless. This steel is similar in composition to AEB-L but is made by a different manufacturer. The blade features a clean belt finish, flat to convex bevel, full tang, and a micarta handle with brass pins. The blade was plate quenched and then placed in a freezer to help reduce retained austenite and complete conversion to martensite. Tempering followed and then final testing and finishing up. This piece comes with a leather sheath.
